Honda Teams Up with Clean Energy Fuels Corp

Hike in gasoline prices is driving the world crazy and therefore more and more users across the globe are now looking for alternative vehicles that can allow them to keep up with their lifestyle but at the same time reduce their expenses on the fuel. In the last few months, there have been record sales for Honda Civic Natural Gas Vehicle and American Honda has now made an announcement that they are working with the Clean Energy Fuels Corp to offer $3000 pre-loaded debit cards that consumers can use across various Clean Energy CNG fueling stations.

Honda said that they are working in various ways to offer better savings for their consumers and all the customers that purchase new 2012 Civic Natural Gas Vehicle will be entitled to have this debit card.

Honda Ambitiousness about Gasoline Prices

Honda said that the new vehicle is designed to provide optimum fuel efficiency and therefore the car offers 31 mpg EPA which is 40% better to any conventional vehicle that uses gasoline fuel. The company said that when more and more consumers will buy this vehicle it will also reduce the pain at the gas pump and the vehicle can run 200 miles on a single tank of fuel depending on driving conditions and style. Honda said that they have seen 22% growth in the sales of new Honda Civic Natural Gas vehicle and the vehicle has also been named as the 2012 Green Car of the Year by Green Car Journal. It is also voted as the greenest vehicles of 2012 by ACEEE.
